You live in a simply furnished double room with double bed (mosquito net), shower and toilet.

The double room costs 26€ including breakfast. For single occupancy 22€ including breakfast.

A breakfast in Sri Lanka mostly consists out of tea or coffee, toast, butter, jam, eggs and juice. Those who like something hearty, you can buy cheese in cans in small shops in Unawatuna. Sausage is not on the menu. Because of the temperatures in Sri Lanka all food quickly spoils.

All others can enjoy their meals in the house or in nearby restaurants. You should avoid ice, ice cubes in drinks with, mayonnaise salads. You should definitely try a real Sri Lankan curry (meat, fish, vegetables, rice, papadams - beware HOT!)

Outside the rooms on the first floor is a terrace with seating and tables. Here you will find some books and a carrom game. It is recommended to take books, magazines, crossword puzzles with you.
